Mathematics has always been fundamental to engineering education. However, industry has often found that traditional teaching methods struggle to develop the flexible thinking and problem-solving skills needed in professional practice. NMITE has chosen a different path. Dr. Sarah Peers and her team have challenged long-held assumptions about engineering mathematics, rethinking its role in engineering education.
