  • 2024.9.28 女科技人STEM營--雷切紙雕工作坊

    女科技人學會 推廣STEM教育,激發女高中生的科技夢想— 女科技人STEM教育活動 雷切紙雕燈工作坊圓滿成功 為鼓勵女性投入科技領域,台灣女科技人學會於2024.9.28舉辦了一場充滿創意與實作精神的 雷切紙雕工作坊 ,針對對電機有興趣的女高中生進行STEM教育推廣。本次活動不僅宣導了「女科技人」的理念,透過實作過程,讓學生們親手體驗雷射切割、紙雕燈設計及Arduino程式控制的技術。 課程內容與實作體驗 女科技人STEM教育活動 分為兩個主要部分:第一部分為理念宣導,台灣女科技人學會的理事長介紹了學會的宗旨與使命,強調培育女性科技人才、STEM教育的重要性;第二部分則以「雷切紙雕燈工作坊」為主軸,學生們學習如何設計並製作獨特的紙雕燈,掌握雷射切割技術,熟悉Arduino控制的燈條編程。 參與熱烈,成果豐碩 來自來自新竹地區的32名女高生參與了此次 女科技人STEM教育活動 ,活動的滿意度與課程難易度均獲得高度評價,許多學生表示對此次體驗感到收穫良多,並期待能參加更多STEM相關的活動或企業合作活動。 學生們的回饋中不乏熱情的心得分享: 「能體驗到很多聽過卻沒實際操作過的東西,真的很有趣!」 「焊接和製作燈箱很有趣,雖然時間緊迫但收穫很多。」 「講師和助教們很親切,幫了我們很大的忙,受益良多。」 宣傳效益與未來展望 此次活動不僅成功推廣了台灣女科技人學會的理念,讓更多年輕女性認識到科技領域的無限可能,還激發了她們對STEM的興趣與熱情。從學生的回饋來看,未來舉辦大學營隊及邀請企業合作、學長姐分享經驗等活動,將更具吸引力。 台灣女科技人學會將繼續秉持初衷,推廣STEM課程並培養更多女性科技人才,讓更多女高中生能夠在科學、技術、工程與數學的世界裡發光發熱。 女科技人STEM營-雷切紙雕燈工作坊

Featured INWES member: JNWES, the Japan Network of Women Engineers and Scientists In this issue, we have a new feature. In every newsletter we will introduce an INWES member organization, their aims, recent projects and activities. We hope that this will inspire new activities, and new collaborations between members. Our first such network is an INWES member in APNN. Empowering girls: the Laissez-Passer winning project continues in Ghana On June 29th, the second round of the “Empowering Girls Through Menstrual Hygiene Awareness” project was held in Ghana.
