As society evolves, more people are using innovative action to address social challenges. Social enterprises have become an increasingly important force, bringing communities together, using business models to overcome limited resources, and developing creative solutions to social problems.
This lecture features Sylvia Kegel, Treasurer of the Executive Committee of the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES). She will discuss how business models and social innovation can overcome resource limitations, create lasting community impact, and build a more equitable and sustainable future for women in science and engineering.
