As the world undergoes rapid change, Taiwan has demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability. This achievement owes much to the influence and decision-making leadership of women in science and technology, helping Taiwan become a model for gender equality in Asia. Taiwan’s internationally recognized technological development has also been driven by the valuable contributions and experiences of women in STEM, who serve as inspiring role models for younger generations. We hope people from diverse backgrounds can make full use of their expertise and unique strengths, enabling Taiwan to maintain its indispensable role in the global technology landscape.

This year’s convention is themed “Toward a New Workplace Where Work and Life Thrive Together.” Women in science and technology are invited to share workplace and campus experiences, identify areas requiring improvement, and offer recommendations for building more gender-equitable organizations and diverse, inclusive teams. The convention will compile these perspectives into formal recommendations for dialogue with government agencies and the business sector, representing the collective voice of the women in STEM community.
The convention will be held in a hybrid format. Online participants may submit comments and responses through the virtual platform, and their contributions will be included in the official record. Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation in Gender Equality Training. Civil service learning hours and professional engineer training credits will also be available. We warmly invite you to join us.
