Highlights of the 2023 International Day of Women and Girls in Science Carnival

On March 5, 2023, the 2023 International Day of Women and Girls in Science Carnival concluded successfully at Big City Far Eastern Shopping Mall. The event was organized by the Department of Physics and the Center for Interdisciplinary Science Education at National Tsing Hua University, with support from Big City and National Hsinchu Girls’ Senior High School.

The event celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (February 11), International Women’s Day (March 8), International Day of Mathematics (March 14), and IYBSSD@Taiwan. Participating organizations from industry, government, and academia presented engaging experiments, scientific knowledge, and performances to promote the sustainable development of public science education.
