Highlights from the “Toward a Gender-Inclusive Digital Economy” Workshop

On September 19, 2023, the Workforce Development Agency of Taiwan’s Ministry of Labor hosted the workshop “Women’s Empowerment through New Media: Toward a Gender-Inclusive Digital Economy.” Experts from Taiwan and across the Asia-Pacific region shared insights into inclusive capacity-building within the digital economy. TWiST Executive Supervisor Shun-Lien Song also delivered a presentation. The workshop explored the importance of creating a gender-inclusive digital environment and expanding digital skills training programs that incorporate gender perspectives.
