Hand in Hand: Interdisciplinary and Project-Based Learning—Event Highlights

The Hand in Hand: Interdisciplinary and Project-Based Learning event concluded successfully at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) on May 17, 2023.

The event connected STEM educators, industry experts, and graduate students through three featured sessions:

• Human-Centered Community Connections

• From Semiconductors to Young Children: Participation Across Generations

• Empowering Women in IoT: Building Stronger Communities for a More Inclusive Future

The speakers were Wen-Chen Hsueh, interdisciplinary producer and Chair of the Women Engineers Committee of the Chinese Institute of Engineers; Professor Wen of NYCU’s Institute of Electronics; and Mandy Chung, Founder and Executive Director of Women in IoT.

Participants engaged in meaningful discussion, networking, and knowledge exchange, making the event a productive and rewarding interdisciplinary learning experience.
