Out of the Shadows Women’s Leadership Development Program | 2026 Taipei, Taiwan

The Out of the Shadows Leadership Development Program is a flagship women’s leadership initiative organized by Females in Mass Spectrometry (FeMS). Designed for women scientists at the mid- to senior-career stages, the program helps participants build confidence, strengthen their influence in professional settings, and advance into higher-level leadership roles.

Supported by Academia Sinica, the Taiwan Women in Science and Technology Association (TWiST), and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), this free, one-day workshop is open to selected applicants. The program includes professional coaching, leadership experience sharing, panel discussions, and networking activities. Participants will develop personalized leadership strategies and support systems while strengthening the professional presence, communication skills, and public visibility required of senior leaders.
