Best Paper Award for Women Researchers

To cultivate women researchers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), Corning Display Technologies Taiwan Co., Ltd. partnered with Taiwan Women in Science and Technology (TWiST) in 2025 to establish the Best Paper Award for Women Researchers.

The award aims to encourage women researchers to pursue innovative and sustainability-oriented STEM research, while strengthening the visibility and impact of women’s contributions to science and technology.

1. Application Period

From 8:00 a.m. on October 7, 2025, to 5:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025

2. Number of Awards

A total of three recipients will be selected, with one recipient from each of the following categories:

Master’s Student Category
Doctoral Student Category
Faculty and Research Staff Category, including postdoctoral researchers and faculty members

3. Award

Each recipient will receive NT$30,000.

Applicable taxes and necessary administrative fees will be withheld in accordance with relevant regulations.

4. Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

Be a woman researcher affiliated with a university or college in Taiwan.
Applicants in the student categories must be second-year master’s students or above in a STEM-related field.
Applicants in the Faculty and Research Staff Category must be postdoctoral researchers or faculty members in a STEM-related department or discipline.
Applicants must retain their student, postdoctoral researcher, or faculty status at their affiliated university or college until the application deadline.
