Congratulations! TWiST Member Professor Li-Chyong Chen Elected to Academia Sinica’s 33rd Session of Academicians

A total of 19 scholars were elected to Academia Sinica’s 33rd Session of Academicians, including only four women. TWiST member Professor Li-Chyong Chen was among them.
Professor Chen earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in applied physics from Harvard University. She currently serves as Director of the Center of Atomic Initiative for New Materials at National Taiwan University. Her honors include the Ministry of Education Academic Award, election as a Fellow of the Taiwan Vacuum Society, and the Taiwan Outstanding Women in Science Award.
