2024.5.8 Chemical Applications of AFR Microchannel Reactors

To promote innovative applications in chemistry and inspire women’s interest in technology, a recent event on Advanced-Flow Reactor (AFR) microchannel technology concluded successfully. Dr. Chiang explained how microchannel design enables more efficient and precise reaction control, significantly improving chemical yields and selectivity. Her research demonstrated the technology’s potential in chemistry and its contribution to sustainable development.


Dr. Chiang encouraged women students to continue learning, exploring, and challenging themselves. She emphasized that perseverance and determination can help women achieve excellence and become future leaders in technological innovation.


The event also invited women experts and scholars to share their experiences in sustainable development, attracting many women students. Through the presentations, participants gained a broader understanding of AFR microchannel technology while expanding their chemical knowledge and practical experience. The speakers’ career insights also strengthened students’ confidence and motivation to pursue STEM careers.
