To make STEM fields more appealing and inspire female students to pursue technology careers, the Chang Chun Petrochemical Alliance recently held a seminar on “CO₂ Reuse and Renewable Energy in the Petrochemical Industry.” The event introduced advanced technologies and practical applications while highlighting gender equality and women’s advancement in science and technology.
The event attracted many female university students in STEM. Through collaboration with the Chang Chun Petrochemical Alliance, participants learned about CO₂ reuse technologies and renewable-energy applications in the petrochemical industry. Successful case studies helped them connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Experts also shared career advice and experiences for women entering related fields, helping students clarify their goals and plan their careers. The program emphasized the importance of CO₂ reuse and renewable energy in environmental protection, encouraging participants to contribute to sustainability through their future work.
The seminar supported the career development of female STEM students, strengthened university–industry connections, and created additional internship and employment opportunities.
