  • 1 min read

To increase students’ understanding of product life cycle assessment and carbon footprint calculations, the school recently organized an educational event combining lectures, practical exercises, and learning resources. Women experts were invited to share their experience in sustainability and environmental protection. Gender equality was also incorporated into the discussions, encouraging more women to enter related fields and contribute to sustainable development.

The event attracted many master’s and doctoral students, as well as participants from outside the school. Through lectures and hands-on exercises, participants strengthened their understanding of assessment and calculation principles while gaining practical experience with carbon footprint calculation tools. These skills established a foundation for future environmental protection and climate action.

The event also strengthened women’s participation and influence in environmental fields. Many women students actively joined the discussions and were encouraged to challenge traditional expectations and contribute to social change. Participants were also encouraged to apply what they learned in their daily lives and workplaces.

Overall, the event enhanced students’ professional knowledge, supported women’s roles in sustainable development, and advanced the school’s commitment to environmental sustainability and gender equality.
