2023 Women’s Innovation and Economic Empowerment: Event Highlights

On September 10, 2023, the lecture “Supporting Women’s Development in STEM” was held at the International Conference Hall of Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science.

The event opened with remarks from the Director of the Tainan City Government Social Affairs Bureau. Sylvia Kegel, Treasurer of the Executive Committee of the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES), was invited to discuss strategies for encouraging more women to enter STEM and helping nonprofit women’s organizations improve their financial sustainability through business models.
