The 2023 International Day of Women and Girls in Science Carnival celebrates several international observances:
February 11: International Day of Women and Girls in Science
March 8: International Women’s Day
March 14: International Day of Mathematics
July 2022–June 2023: International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD)
The event is organized by the Center for Interdisciplinary Science Education under the Office of Academic Affairs at National Tsing Hua University, with Big City Shopping Mall and National Hsinchu Girls’ Senior High School serving as co-organizers.
Organizations from industry, government, and academia will host interactive science booths, working together to promote accessible and sustainable science education for the public.
