TWiST at INWES-APNN 2024: Advancing International Exchange and Cross-Disciplinary Dialogue on Gender and Technology
From October 4 to 5, 2024, the 14th Annual Meeting of the Asia Pacific Nation Network (APNN) under the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES) was held at the Vietnam National Innovation Center in Hanoi. Centered on the theme “The Role of Women in Science & Technology and International Integration for Sustainable Development,” the event highlighted key global issues including gender equality, innovation in science and technology, and sustainability.
The INWES-APNN Annual Meeting serves as a key international platform to amplify women’s voices in STEM and strengthen regional partnerships for a more equitable and sustainable future. Through this year’s participation, TWiST deepened its connections with partner organizations across Asia-Pacific and demonstrated Taiwan’s ongoing commitment to science policy, gender mainstreaming, and global cooperation in advancing science and technology.
