The Taiwan Women Tech Association was established at the end of 2011, hoping to encourage the minority of women in technology to further communicate and cooperate through this organization, enhance professional development; at the same time, pass on experience and help the younger generation.
Membership Fees | Payable upon Joining
Individual Members:

General member: NT$500

Life member: NT$500

Student member: NT$100 (open to undergraduate students enrolled at a university or independent college in Taiwan or abroad who support TWiST’s mission; graduate students may join as general members)
Institutional members: No admission fee (see Annual Membership Dues).
Annual Membership Dues | Payable Annually
Individual Members:
General members: NT$1,000 per year
Student members: NT$400 per year
Institutional members: NT$20,000 per year

Becoming a Life Member:
Existing general members: Become life members after paying annual dues for 12 consecutive years. (Years of student membership are not included.)
New members: Become life members by making a one-time payment of the NT$500 admission fee and NT$10,000 in membership dues.
Note: According to Article 12, Chapter 2 of the Association’s Charter, members who fail to pay membership dues shall not be entitled to enjoy membership rights. Members who have failed to pay dues for two consecutive years and wish to participate in association affairs again must repay both the admission fee and annual membership dues.
Permanent members who fail to attend the general meeting for two consecutive years and do not appoint a representative member to attend on their behalf shall have the membership rights stipulated in Article 8 temporarily suspended. Such rights shall be automatically reinstated once they attend or appoint a representative to attend a general meeting again.
